Terms of Service
❥ 1. Basic Agreement Requisites
❧ By commissioning me, you are agreeing to my terms of service, as posted here. ☙
❧ I am not responsible for any client(s) misinterpreting or mistranslating terms, nor if I am misled about your ability to comply, such as lying about your age. ☙
❧ You must be at least 18 years of age, or have a parent/guardian able to provide permission, to commission me – regardless of the commission content (if it is “child friendly” or “adult” in nature.) ☙
❧ I reserve the right to refuse any commission, for any reason. Explanation may be provided, but I am not obligated to do so. (This means I usually will, but am allowed to just say no and leave it at that.) ☙
❧ I do not discriminate based on any client(s) racial, sexual, gender, religious, or other such protected statuses, but I am not obligated to work for any client(s) I am personally uncomfortable with, or any subject mater I am personally uncomfortable with. ☙
❧ I am a strictly LGBTQIA+ friendly artist, and I will not work with anyone who displays or is known to display hateful behaviors towards the LGBTQIA+ community, either directly or indirectly. ☙
❧ Failure to abide by my terms may result in a client(s) being blacklisted from further work with me in the future. ☙
❧ Any client(s) who file chargebacks after the commission is complete will be permanently blacklisted from working with me in the future, and will be disputed for theft of services. Refusal to pay incurred, agreed upon fees will result in being blacklisted. Refusal to agree to payments may result in the commission being halted until an agreement is made, or cancelled entirely if an agreement cannot be reached, in which case, partial refund may be issued if applicable. ☙
❧ Any client(s) attempting to harass, verbally abuse, threaten, bully, etc, forfeit their right to a refund and completion of their commission. Legal action may be pursued in the event of serious offenses. Basically, don’t be a jerk or inappropriate on purpose, and you’ll be fine – polite warnings will be issued in the vast majority of cases. ☙

Please allow up to 48 hours during Business Days (Non-business days include most holidays and any announced closures due to personal reasons, including but not limited to medical emergencies) for a response. If you do not receive a response in this time frame, feel free to follow up if you so choose, but kindly refrain from spamming - spam and/or harassment are grounds to be blocked and barred from future commerce of goods and/or services.
❥ 3. Payment and Refunds
❧ My prices are all listed in USD, and I currently accept payment either via Paypal Invoices or via Ko-fi commission listings, where I can accept Paypal or Stripe. I do NOT accept payment in bartering, cryptocurrency, exposure, etc. ☙
❧ I require payment be made up front, before the commission is begun, with exceptions made solely at my discretion for recurring client(s) who have a history of reliable payment. ☙
❧ The exception to this is for orders over 100 USD, in which case I will allow partial payment up front of at minimum 50% the total price, the rest on completion of the full sketch before linework is begun. ☙
❧ Tips are greatly appreciated, but by no means required. ☙
❧ There are NO refunds on completion of the commission. Should any client(s) wish to cancel the commission and receive a partial refund during the process, they will receive up to a 50% refund if the linework has not yet begun, and at most a 25% refund if the linework is partially or wholly complete. At the stage of colors and/or rendering, refunds are no longer available, but a client reserves the right to cease business with me at any point of the process should they so choose. ☙
❧ I reserve the right to cease business with any client(s) at any point during the commission process, at which point the refund will apply the same as above. ☙
❥ 4. Delivery Times
Each commission is unique, and the specific delivery times will vary – HOWEVER, most will take around a week from the time they’re begun to the time they’re completed, on average. ☙
❧ A higher number of characters will increase the time needed to complete the commission. ☙
❧ A shaded/rendered commission will take longer than a flat colored commission. ☙
❧ Reference sheets typically take longer than standard commissions. ☙
❧ Detailed characters will take longer than simpler ones. ☙
❧ Requests for revisions will delay the process, dependant on the nature of the revision. ☙
❧ I am not responsible for the delay between myself and any client(s) communicating about the commission, such as waiting for approval to continue at different “checkpoints” (Sketch stage, linework, flats, etc.) ☙
Rush service – If any client(s) have need of a piece being done in a short or specific time frame, it is to be discussed before payment is processed and the commission begun. A rush fee of 20% the piece price may be applied if the client requests a piece be complete within 48 hours of being begun after payment is received.
5. Revision Policy
❧ During the commission process, if the client(s) should wish for changes to the artwork, they may ask for Corrections or Revisions. Corrections do not incur an additional fee upon a client(s) – a client may ask for up to three Revisions before additional fees may be incurred, subject to a case by case basis. ☙
❧ For the purpose of this policy, a Correction is if I, the artist, have not correctly followed a given design reference or have not correctly followed given directions for the commission, such as: ☙
- Missing markings, features, or details to a character’s design
- Adding incorrect markings, features, or details to a character’s design
- Incorrectly coloring a character when given a reference to color pick from
- Posing the character notably differently than requested by the client(s) – such as drawing them standing when asked for sitting
Corrections will be provided free of charge so long as they are made within the appropriate stage of completion (I am not obligated to make changes to the linework after approval and having moved on to colors, for example.) Corrections do NOT include changing a commission mid-process to accommodate a new, updated design that was not provided at the time of payment.
❧ A Revision is when you, the client, want a change to the commission being presented to you for approval. For example, this may include things such as: ☙
Changing the pose of a character or composition of an image to something different from what was asked for at the time of payment. (If you ask just for “standing, holding an arm up” and you want to change the pose to holding both arms up, or you want the sketch re-done from a different angle, this would be a revision.)
Changing the design of the character from the reference presented at the time of payment
-- This may not be allowed if the design is substantially different – to prevent paying for a simple character, and switching out to a complex one, for example.
- Any corrections made past their relevant points of approval (such as adjusting a marking after the sketch was approved and the linework is already in place)
Minor revisions may be waived of incurring fees dependant on the simplicity, especially for recurring clients. Major revision fees beyond the initial three will be calculated based on the amount of work necessary to perform them, the client will be provided a price before the revision is begun so they may decide if they’d like to continue. Revisionary fees will be paid by the client(s) when the commission is complete, BEFORE they are sent the final complete image. Revisionary fees will start at a minimum of 10$ USD (Overall, not PER revision.) ☙
❥ 6. Your Information and Privacy
❧ I do not use any of your information for marketing, I do not sell it to any third parties, I do not use it for anything except collecting payment, communicating with you as a buyer relevant to your purchase, and if applicable, shipment of physical goods. If any client(s) wish for their commission to be strictly private (ie, I do not speak of it to anyone else, I do not use it as an example piece for any other potential clients, etc) all I require is that the client(s) say so to me directly at the time of commissioning, and I’m happy to respect this request! ☙
❧ I will only ask for the information necessary to do business with you – ie, I’ll ask for a paypal email to send your invoice to, if collecting payment through paypal, and I’ll need to be able to stay in contact with you through the commission process in order to get approval to proceed and to deliver the finished piece. ☙
❥ 7. Usage Rights
❧ I currently do not offer any services or items with commercial use rights, only personal. Reproductions of commissioned work are strictly allowed for personal use. This means you may: ☙
- Get the commission printed for your wall
- Print your commission as stickers to put on your personal belongings or give away as free gifts
- Privately get your commission printed on any other physical media for your personal use (shirts, other wall art, postcards, etc)
- Use your commission for an avatar/profile picture
- Upload the finished commission to a gallery or personal art collection, with credit listed
- Put your commission file on physical media or store it digitally for backup
- If applicable, manually edit your commission for personal use (such as if you’ve been given the .psd file for a character reference, and you personally change linework/colors later)
❧ You may NOT: ☙
- Reproduce my work physically for any form of resale (Prints, stickers, shirts, etc)
- Re-sell my work in any way
- Use my work to train generative AI, in any fashion
- Use generative AI to edit my work
- Use my work in any way affiliated with NFTs or Cryptocurrency
- Use my work to in any way represent or contribute to a hateful and/or discriminatory cause or agenda
- Pay or barter with a third party/third parties to edit my work
❥ 8. Availability
❧ I reserve the right to, at any time, for any reason, discontinue any variety of commission previously available. ☙
❧ I also reserve the right to, at any time, for any reason, change my pricing – be that increase, or decrease – and am not obligated to offer any discounts or refunds in association to this. (This means if I do a sale after you’ve commissioned me, I am not obligated to refund the difference, and if I raise my prices, I’m not obligated to honor the previous price UNLESS you’ve got a valid price quote from me within the last 30 days.) ☙
